However, it may affect the characteristics of sample proteins and the molecular weight measured, depending on the concentration of TEMED used for the experiment.

SurePAGE gels are cast in a neutral pH buffer that minimizes polyacrylamide hydrolysis, increases gel stability and minimizes protein modification.
